Overview

Our client is looking for an experienced and committed Live-in Domestic Couple for their beautiful rural property near Salisbury.

The residence is an idyllic weekend retreat for the Principals and provides a serene escape from the bustle of everyday life. The Principals enjoy regular hosting, transforming their home into a haven for gatherings and parties.

They are looking for a meticulous Housekeeper, to work 30 hours a week, and an experienced Maintenance/Handy Person to work 10 hours a week. Hours for both positions are likely to extend during the summer and beyond, to accommodate renovations, entertaining, and running errands, with compensation adjusted accordingly, on a month by month basis.

The Domestic Couple will be provided with a separate apartment, with a large open kitchen and sitting room, double bedroom, and bathroom, and have use of an onsite car.

Job duties:
Responsibilities of the Live-in Domestic Couple near Salisbury include:

• Daily cleaning of all living spaces, including bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas
• Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
• Changing bed linens and making beds
• Managing laundry, ironing, and wardrobe organisation
• Planning and preparing meals for the Principals and occasional guests
• Maintaining a well-stocked and organised kitchen
• Conducting routine maintenance tasks for the property
• Coordinating with external contractors for more extensive repairs
• Taking care of the Principal’s dogs, including feeding, grooming, and walking
• Running errands, such as grocery shopping or picking up packages
• Ensuring the estate’s vehicles are well-maintained

Candidates must be / have:

• Experience of working in a similar role for a private estate / HNW individual
• Knowledge of fine fabrics, silverware, art, and antiques
• Valid driving licences
• Proficiency in English
• Cooking skills, would be a plus

Accommodation

A separate accommodation consisting of a double bedroom, open plan kitchen / sitting room and use of an onsite car.

Hours
30 hours – Housekeeper

10 hours – Maintenance/Handy Person

Two days off in the midweek.
