Overview
Our client requires an experienced Seasonal Driver/Houseman, with a broad skill set, to take on the driving duties, general maintenance, and the overall upkeep of a large, beautiful private villa in Super Cannes.
The role is from early June to October, and is up to six days a week.
Job duties:
Responsibilities of the Temporary Driver/Houseman include, but not limited to:
- Detailed knowledge of local roads without the use of Sat Nav
- Flexibility in taking on duties outside driving such as general maintenance of the exterior of the villa, including light gardening, mowing lawns and cleaning of terraces
- Running a variety of errands for the Principals, including airport runs, picking up personal items, dropping off dry cleaning and collecting groceries, when required
- Valeting of prestige vehicles
- Opening doors for the clients and guests, assisting with luggage
Candidates must be/have:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience within luxury hotel, yacht and / or private household
- A clean, valid driving licence
- EU Passport / right to work in France
- A fluent English and French speaker
- A non-smoker
- A high-level of presentation, be discreet, polite and professional and have exceptional time keeping
Accommodation
Not provided as this is a live-out position. Candidates must live within a short commute of Super Cannes.
Hours
Full-time, and up to six days a week when Principals are in residence.
Please note, this is seasonal position, running from June to October.
