Overview

An experienced front of house couple/guardians are required to manage a unique, high end and bespoke property, sleeping up to 10-people, based in a remote location in the mountains above Verbier and Nendaz.

The property is in an isolated, exclusive location at 3,000 metres and can only be accessed helicopter or via the lift system. Via the lift system, a tracked vehicle is then used or it is a 40-minute snow shoe or ski/skin by foot.

The guests will be high profile and it is essential they are given a seamless experience from start to finish. The property will be a fully staffed chalet, when guests are resident (private chef, mountain guide), and a fully bespoke service is available to the guests. The couple will be fully supported by the managing staff.

Booking will be on a bespoke basis for a minimum 3-night stay, and it is essential that the couple has experience working in client facing roles in high end properties for high profile private clients, or super yachts, and 5* Hotel/Restaurant experience would also be desirable.

It is essential the couple enjoy working in a service position and are ready to offer an outstanding, personable service to the clients, ensuring any demands, however big, small or impossible, are met with an exceptional outcome at all times.

The couple must be experienced skiers, ideally to have worked in the mountains before, and must be able to turn their hand to anything.

Job duties
Responsibilities of the Chalet Management Couple in Verbier and Nendaz include:

• Meet and greet clients
• Logistics – including planning
• Hosting – attending to all guest requirements whenever necessary
• Serving and clearing food and drink
• Organising entertainment, or any special requests for the guests
• Laying tables, table design must be 5* and bespoke
• Ensuring the guests requests are always attended to
• Ensuring the property is presented to 5* standards at all time
• Managing staff – mountain guide, chef, cleaners etc
• Overseeing any maintenance jobs
• Managing stock

Accommodation
When there are guests in residence, the couple will live in the chalet with the other staff. When there are no guest bookings, an apartment in the Verbier will be provided for the couple to live in.

Contract and Hours
Friday 1st November 2024 – end of April 2025.

It is important the property is looked after and ready for the arrival of guests at all times. The couple must be prepared to be ‘on call’ and be ready to work at any time required.

Salary
4,000 CHF net per month (combined) + tips.

A full season ski pass, ski hire and accommodation (plus meals – when guests are present) will be provided.
