Private PA/House Manager | UK Passport/Right to work

Overview

An experienced Private PA/House Manager is required to support a UHNW family based in London and Surrey.

This multifaceted role involves managing complex travel, household operations, personal tasks, and technology for the family across multiple properties. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and adept at handling a range of responsibilities in both personal and business capacities.

Applicants must have strong experience in a similar position, and be able to work a minimum of three days a week from the client’s London house.

Start date: ASAP.

Job duties
Responsibilities of the Private PA/House Manager in London & Surrey include:

  • Maintain family’s travel diary and coordinate schedules without direct access to the Principal’s calendar
  • Book flights, family holidays, hotels, cars/transfers, liaise with travel agents, check-in, and ensure all travel logistics (including flight mile points and TSA numbers) are smooth
  • Be on-call during family travel for potential changes or delays
  • Oversee two homes in London and one in Surrey
  • Arrange maintenance, manage renovations (including London properties scheduled for 2025 and 2026), conduct stocktaking, and oversee purchases
  • Visit each property weekly and manage housekeeping in the absence of staff
  • Manage fan mail, personal appointments, restaurants, and vehicle maintenance. Liaise with pet sitters and ensure all family members’ important documents (passports, driving licenses, etc.) are up to date
  • Coordinate with agents, PR teams, and business managers to align personal and professional schedules
  • Collaborate with UK business managers and US accountants
  • Oversee household staff to ensure smooth operations
  • Update devices, troubleshoot issues, manage CCTV and home systems, and maintain SharePoint filing systems

Candidates must be/have:

  • Experience supporting UHNW individuals or families in a similar role
  • Valid UK driving licence and confidence driving in London and Surrey
  • Ability to commute to London and Surrey (GU9)
  • Proactive, adaptable, and capable of managing changing schedules
  • Proficient in Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and SharePoint
  • Comfortable using Apple products and confident with technology
  • Discreet and capable of handling confidential information
  • Willingness to work outside of standard business hours as needed
  • Ability to work with pets and assist in their care

Hours
Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:30, with a requirement to be on call outside these hours.

Location / work pattern
Minimum of three days per week in London (W8 – house and office), plus Surrey (small estate) and WFH.

Salary
£100,000.
